Peak Season

Jan 4 to Mar 21 and Jun7 toSep5
Check-in: after 11:00 am (no cottage access until 5pm) Check-out: before 9:30 am

Beginning at 11:00am, guests may check-in, launch boats, enjoy the beach, and hang out at the lodge. At 5pm, guests may begin unpacking luggage into your cottage. Staff can deliver refrigerated items to your cottage upon check-in.

 

Value Season

All other dates are considered value season.
Check-in: after 3:00 pm* Check-out: before 9:30am*

*Unless other arrangements are made with the Office by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance

 

A 30% deposit is required to hold all reservations. Deposit is refundable until 45 days before check-in minus a $50
cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 45 days in advancewill forfeit full deposit. Partial cancellations are subject to
same deadlines.

Balance due at check-in. Mail checks in time to clear before check-in.No checks accepted day of check-in.

A fully refundable security deposit of $250 per cottage and $150 per boat will be required at check-in in addition to
the reservation balance.

Three night minimum in peak season. Weekly rates are Sat check-in or daily rates apply.

Reservation Deposit

A 30% reservation deposit is required to hold all cabins. This deposit is refundable minus a $50 cancellation fee up to 45 days before date of reservation. Your balance is due at check-in. Cancellations made less than 45 days before reservation date will forfeit the 30% deposit.

Security Deposit

A fully refundable $250 security deposit in cash or credit card will be required at check–in in addition to the reservation balance. NO CHECKS. Deposits made in cash will be refunded by mailed check and may take longer to arrive.

Personal Checks

Personal checks cannot be accepted the day of check-in. If you intend to pay with personal check,
please mail the check for the full amount. You will be notified once your check has cleared.
All checks must clear before check-in.

Fees

Cabins left in damaged or exceptionally poor condition may incur additional repair, replacement, or cleaning fees. This extends to damage done to common areas and equipment.

 

Cancellations

Upon cancellation your reservation deposit will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 45 days before check-in forfeit the entire 30% reservation deposit.

No Show

If you have not checked-in by 9:00am following the first day of your reservation and no communication has been made with the office, your reservation will be forfeited without refund and may be given to a walk-in party. Additional fees may also apply.

Communication Privacy Policy: By booking, you authorize The Retreat at Lost Land Lake to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Our Location – The Retreat at Lost Land Lake is located about 20 miles northeast of Hayward. Take Hwy. 77 east 15 miles to County Road ‘A’ (Dow’s Corner). Turn left on Upper ‘A’. Go north 1 mile to Brandt Road. Turn right and drive 3 miles to our sign. Our entrance is on the left.
